What makes a great Company Day presentation?

We’re looking for personal, insightful, or thought-provoking sessions from team members across the company.
Presentations should reflect something you’ve learned, built, solved, or are genuinely curious about whether it’s related to your work at Proformex or beyond.
  • Lessons from launching a new feature or process
  • A behind-the-scenes look at how your team solves complex problems
  • Big trends you’re seeing in data
  • Lessons from onboarding different customers
  • Culture as a strategy

Build-a-Booth

Each department will set up a booth, think industry conference style, to showcase the great work your team has been up to. This is a chance to get creative, show off your work, and help the rest of the team understand how your team works together. The goal? Make your booth approachable, informative, and a little bit fun.

Booths can include:

  • Visuals of your workflows, data, or outcomes
  • Demos of tools or processes you use
  • Interactive elements (quizzes, games, challenges, etc.)
  • A timeline of a recent project or initiative
  • “How to work with us” cheat sheet or FAQ
  • A “Meet the Team” board with fun bios or photos
  • A prompt to collect feedback or input from attendees
  • … or your own fun idea!

Role Call

There are 5 possible methods for participation in Proformex’s Company Day: Booth Setup Coordinator, Feature Presentation, Topic Intro, Lightning Round, and Panel Discussion.

Our Panel discussion will be a 20 minute talk about the similarities and differences of each participants career path.

The main difference for each of the other presentation options are there duration. Our Lightning Rounds will showcase a 3 slide presentation on any topic lasting 3 minutes maximum; be concise, that’s the challenge!

Topic Intro presentations are 15 minutes in duration and have more freedom in their formatting, but topics have been assigned based on form responses for what our team wanted to learn about.

Our Feature Presentations offer an opportunity for our team to get an in-depth understanding of the most relevant discussions currently happening and allow for subject matter experts to share their knowledge in a free flowing format.

What to Bring

Within reasonable means, bring what you need to make your booths or presentations exciting. How would you attract patrons to your team in an open field of companies at a larger conference? (Candy, Podcast Studio, Putting Green? Get Creative!)

Dress Code

Wednesday: Get comfortable, WFH Attire (within reason lol)

Thursday: “Conference Attire” encouraged, regular office standards are acceptable.
