Over the weekend, team Proformex had the pleasure of attending IACON 2019 in Columbus, brought to you by the Ohio Insurance Agents Association. It was a fantastic event - from the opening kickball tournament to the closing tailgate for the OSU v. Miami (OH) game, and all the educational sessions and networking opportunities in between! 

One of the best ways to stay motivated is through a little friendly competition. Thanks to our friends at Oswald Companies and other mission-focused organizations like Spark 360 and ABC News Channel 5, some of that friendly competition has been introduced to the Cleveland Metro area in the form of the SparkCleveland Step Challenge.

With new best interest standards regulations, producers must be able to demonstrate that their client recommendations and sales transactions are suitable. What criteria are used to define "suitable"? Learn more in the video below. 

According to the 2019 Downtown Cleveland Q2 Market Update, homegrown startups (like Proformex) have significantly impacted the city's growth over the last quarter. With the office being located right in the heart of downtown Cleveland at the North Point building, Proformex is one of the quickly growing local companies that's helping the city to attract a young, highly skilled labor force - especially in the SaaS and technology spaces. Cleveland now ranks 10th among the nation's largest cities for software developer growth, surpassing big names such as Denver, Austin and the Bay Area.
