Last week, our team had the great pleasure of attending the Plug and Play Tech Center Summit in Sunnyvale, CA. Plug and Play Tech Center is “the ultimate innovation platform connecting the best startups and the largest corporations”. Mike Pepe, CEO and Founder of Proformex, and Chad Neifer, SVP of Key Accounts and Integration, had a great time networking with other entrepreneurial professionals in both related and unrelated industries.

In addition to hearing insights and advice from others, Mike was also given the opportunity to talk about Proformex and why it’s so important for fiduciaries and agents to be empowered with an inforce policy management platform. “We’re leveraging technology to transform an industry that needs an innovative solution to a long-standing problem,” Mike said. “It was an honor to present our product among other brilliant tech-disruptors.”

For Chad, the biggest takeaway was the reaffirmation that startups are a catalyst for change. “You’ve got to be ambitious [as a startup],and being surrounded by likeminded individuals and hearing their stories at this year’s event was truly inspiring,” Chad said. “I hope we have the chance to return next year and hear even more success stories!”
