One of the best ways to stay motivated is through a little friendly competition. Thanks to our friends at Oswald Companies and other mission-focused organizations like Spark 360 and ABC News Channel 5, some of that friendly competition has been introduced to the Cleveland Metro area in the form of the SparkCleveland Step Challenge.
The challenge aims to unite local employees toward a common goal: building a healthier community. Participants can track their steps with their chosen devices or manually on the SparkCleveland website. Those daily step counts will be tallied from September 1st to October 15th to count toward both the individual’s organization and Cleveland’s total steps.
Clevelanders who have accepted the challenge will be in the running for several grand prizes, sponsored by Vionic Shoes, Bombas Socks, BUBS Naturals and Planet Fitness. Competitors will be working alongside their colleagues to get in those extra steps every day to prove they’re among the healthiest, most active organizations in the Cleveland metro area.
Rankings are updated daily on the website’s leaderboard, divided into three categories based on company size. Currently, Proformex ranks 8th in the Small Companies category with 662,393 steps logged so far. We’ll be stepping our game up to work our way to the top of that list, so check back in next Thursday to see where the team stands!
